We have two guinea pigs that we thought were both male, turns out one is a female and an albino. My kids have had them for four months but she hasn’t gotten pregnant, atleast not to our knowledge. Is it possible that she is infertile and or can’t get pregnant since she’s an albino?

It is possible that she is infertile or that she and the boar are incompatible. We have had cases where we had a pair together for ages with nothing happening and then transferred the animals to new mates and have the sow bred and the boar get a sow pregnant.
It is possible that she is already bred and you haven’t seen it yet, particularly if both were young when you got them.
It has nothing to do with the fact that she is albino. Over the years we have had many albino sows and all have bred normally.
If you do not want pups, separate the boar now because you never know when he might get her bred. The older she gets without a litter the more likely you are to have problems with her if she does conceive
Albino colouring has nothing to do with it. She may already be pregnant. Feel around her sides – does she feel lumpy at all? Or put on weight? There’s also a chance if your kids are fairly young that they may have squeezed her too hard and caused her to miscarry.
albion is jut genetics and basicaly a colour, shes fertile…she’ll brobly get pregnant o all ready be pregnant
