I started my period when I was 11. Now I am 19. I was put on birth control when I was about 14 to regulate my period. I was on and off that for a couple of years. About 2 months ago, I found out I have a thyroid disorder(hypothyroidism). I have been taking synthroid. My periods never come on their own unless I am given something like provera or birth control. So could I actually get pregnant? Or there is just a less chance?

You can very well ovulate and not have a period at all, it is possible and has happened, my suggestion to you? DONT RISK IT…it is true that due to your medical condition and the medication you are on to enhance periods, such as estrogen…may make your chances less likely to get pregnant…but you dont want to spend all month thinking "what if?" use a condom or the pill. Your 19 like me, we dont need to be worrying about pregnancy right now!
you can still get pregnant they can prescribe you something like clomid which helps you to ovulate and become pregnant. your chances are probably slimmer than women without the disorder but dont worry too much. good luck!
