You can! I have had irregular periods my whole life and earlier this year got my thyroid removed due to the fact that they thought I had cancer. So I have no thyroid and have to be on medicine for the rest of my life. It’s definitely not impossible though for the simple fact that I got pregnant with my now boyfriend the very first time he came in me and I am not having that much trouble and everything is moving along. I had thought it would be extremely hard for me but I guess not and I am so happy because I’m only 18 and ever since I had my thyroid removed I’ve been worried about not being able to have my own babies. :< I think truly it matters on whether or not you’re fertile in your family. My family is known for being extremely fertile so maybe that helped me a lot.

Probably make it harder, but not impossible.

It woul make it more trickier to find out when you ovulate, but totally not impossible. Good luck!

you can, but probably not naturally. i have irregular periods and also have a thyroid coindition and am on synthroid for it. i’ve been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and am now seeing a fertility specialist and have to do IVF.
    good luck to you

Yes it can make it hard to conceive. I suggest getting your thyroid levels checked to make sure they are in the right range. Make sure to take your thyroid pill every morning with a glass of water on an empty stomach (don’t eat for atleast a hour afterwards or 2 hours before). Hypothyroidism causes you to have irregular periods when it is not under control/wrong dosage. But yes you can conceive when having hypothyroidism but when you do make sure your OB checks your levels constantly cause i went into premature labor at 19 weeks because my OB wouldn’t keep checking my levels and kept saying they were fine but they weren’t.
