Can you only get pregnant on your ovolation date?

Can you get pregnant any day of the month or the only time you can get pregnant is during your ovolation date? Or is your ovolation date the most likely you’ll get pregnant? And if you take take your pill late and you have sex can you get pregnant?

Hi. You can only get pregnant NEAR ovulation time. That is around 5 days before, and up to 2 days afterwards. Most women don’t know exactly when ovulation will occur (hour, minute etc) and sperm can live inside of the female for up to 5 days. So if you are having unprotected sex, you WILL get pregnant eventually. The sperm could be there and awaiting for your egg, fertilize it and you’ll be pregnant.
If you take your pill late often, then yes ovulation could occur. The pill can’t even protect you 100% against pregnancy to begin with, so always use another method of birth control if you are not wanting to become pregnant.
