Did any other ladies get pregnant by trying to conceive one day before you ovulated?

I tried to get pregnant on Jan 1, and I ovulated on Jan 2. Today’s the 10th and I’m wondering if I should have tried to conceive a few days prior to ovulating instead of just one day before. Anyone know what symptoms if any I should be feeling right now?
actually angel, male sperm lives 3-5 days and the female egg lives about 24 hours
you could be pregnant but if you just conceived you should wait a bit longer to take a pregnancy test. it probably wouldn’t show up positive just yet. good luck!

Too early for symptoms unless you experience severe symptoms normally in pregnancy or your cycle.
And the only ones I can think of would be morning sickness (my sister-in-law is one example at 4 weeks she started)… Tiredness – serious chronic fatigue (me at about 6-7 weeks) and boobs sore sore sore……at about 8weeks
male sperm only live for around 24 hours, compared to female which can live for up to a week. So if you want the best chance of getting a boy you need to have sex within 24 hours of ovulation. Thats what I did and voila….. 29 weeks pregnant with our 3rd and another boy.
so basically as long as you do it anywhere from 3 days up to the day of ovulation before ovulation you will have a good chance of getting pregnant.

You’re stressing too much. Just relax. You can have sex 5 days before ovulation, the day you ovulate, or a couple days after ovulation and still conceive. There are no guaranteed signs this early. Besides, you’ll only psyche yourself out if you start concentrating on it too much. Wait until your next period and take a test. If you get your period, then just try again next month. Good luck.

I ovulated on the 1′st and will be testing tomorrow! We tried the three days before as well.
i didn’t really try, but i did have sex the day before i ovulated and now have a 20 month old little girl. As far as symptoms go i almost immediately had pain and stretching feelings to the point where it hurt to walk stand sit ANYTHING! Odd cause it was my second pregnancy, but when i was actually confirmed pregnant by the dr. he explained to me that it could have been from the egg being fertilized in the fallopian tube and then moving and since it would be bigger moving through i would feel it more. I never had any complications so i assume that was it. Good luck to you I hope you have the same luck as i!
