Do different positions help while trying to conceive?

I am wondering is different positions during intercourse help while trying to conceive? Someone once told me that if you put your legs up after he finishes that it helps..is this true?
That is so not true. You can hang upside down from the chandelier and do it and it won’t help. The most important thing is those swimmers getting to your eggs. And that can happen in any position…legs up or down.
I have heard that too…I guess people say that because of gravity. I think the best position is missionary (guy on top) cause the penetration is deeper
HI SWEETIE- I AGREE. POSITIONS DONT MATTER. IF YOU WANT TO DO A HANDSTAND AFTERWARDS TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER DO SO, BUT IT WONT HELP. YOU HAVE TO BE FERTILE AND OVULATING IN ORDER TO GET PREGGO. THE SPERM JUST SHOOTS RIGHT UP INTO THE CERVIX AND WHATEVER IS NOT NEEDED WILL "SPILL" OUT. YOUR NOT LOSING IT, ITS JUST YOUR CERVIX DOESNT NEED IT AND CANT HOLD IT. JUST HAVE SEX ATLEAST 2 DAYS BEFORE YOUR OVULATING AND THAN ON YOUR DAYS OF OVULATION AND TRY NOT TO "TRY" SO HARD TO GET PREGGO OR STRESS. THATS WHAT I AM DOING THIS MONTH. MY MOST FERTILE DAY WAS YESTERDAY AND WELL I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO AND BY TOMORROW I WONT BE FERTILE ANYMORE AND WILL BE ON MY TTW. BUT I AM TRYING NOT TO "THINK" ABOUT IT. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 5 MONTHS AND I KNOW ITS NOT THAT LONG, BUT ITS LONG ENOUGH WHEN YOU WANT IT SO BAD. SO JUST RELAX HAVE GREAT SEX AND TRY NOT TO MAKE IT INTO A JOB OR CHORE. i dont think what position you are in really matters. They say to put your legs in the air after to stop the sperm leaking out!!
Conceiving doesn’t depend on the position it all depends on when you ovulate. You could have sex in any position you want and either get pregnant or not. Sperm lives inside you for 72 hours, ya just gotta catch when your body is releasing that egg. And deeper the penetration the better of the sperm reaching that released egg. But also what helps is trying to not try. The more you think about it the harder it will be to get pregnant. Just have fun with it, go with the flow.
