Would this have an impact if i am trying to conceive right now and i’m not on any other birth control or haven’t been since the ortho tricyclen lo?

Not at all. I was on the pill for 10 years. Once I got off of it, I got pregnant within the first month. But, keep in mind that all women are different. Some get pregnant quicker than others, but it really has nothing to do with past birth control methods.

It won’t affect your chances of conception once you stop taking it. My doctor told me I’ll actually be more fertile the first 6 months off the pill.

Birth control pills are hormones, and the hormones will leave your body within about 48 hours, which is why they recommend starting a whole new pack if you miss more than one pill.

No you should be fine, but I went off birth control (pill) and I had a hard time getting my body back to its self. I know I’m fertile and have a baby before but this was different. My body didn’t seem to want to ovulate, it took about 4 months off (orth tri) to start ovulating again. But once I started that was it for me. I got prego that month.

    Good Luck
