I’ve been trying to conceive for 8 months now and started using softcups for 4 of the 8 months with no success. Could the softcups be the cause? Any chance the softcups are harmful to sperm? I read online some people had success using softcups so I figured I’d give it a shot but now I’m wondering if its been more harmful than helpful. Any insights you can share?
It depends on why you are using them, if you are using them during your period i would suggest to stop as when we were ttc we were told to only use external products and avoid putting anything inside you that may disrupt the normal secretions and the acidity levels of your cervix, if you are using them to try and keep the seminal fluid in after sex, again i wouldnt bother, its not been proved that this works, and if your partners sperm count and motility is normal the little guys should find there way to the target, but there is no harm in laying down for 10 to 15 minutes after intercourse.
