ok so i want a baby with blonde hair and blue eyes preferably, and my hubbys heritage is all blonde hair and blue or green eyes, sooo… could i get someone elses egg, fertilize it with my hubbys junk and then put it in me? how would that work? i have brown hair and brown eyes so im not going to use my egg.

aside from the shallowness of the question, the answer is yes. there are egg donors just like there are sperm donors. the process is invitro fertilization. it can take a few treatments before the egg will attach and become an embryo. each treatment can run in excess of 10,000 dollars.
Wtf? Shouldn’t you love your child no matter what colour their eyes and hair our? This is rediculous.
It is possible that you use some one’s egg, but it is not sure that your baby will have blonde hair and blue eyes-as far as my knowledge says-better you talk to a specialist.
1. The baby wouldn’t even be yours,
2. I dunno if they would have to do it the old fashioned way
3. You shouldn’t care what your baby looks like, you should only care that its healthy.
4. If you care so much about looks, then you shouldn’t have kids. Beauty is fleeting.
5. I should think, who has the stronger genes? You or him, that way the baby would be more to have his hair or your hair, why not want your OWN child to look like you?
People like you should not be able to have children.
you shouldn’t care if your child came out with blue hair and red eyes get a grip
If you got the egg of a person with blonde hair and blue eyes and your husband has both blonde hair and blue eyes then yes, you would definitely have a child with blonde hair and blue eyes (as they are recessive genes and thus if both biological parents have these traits the baby will too)
That being said, brown hair and brown eyes are dominant genes, so if there is blonde hair and blue eyes in your family, you could have these recessive genes but they are covered by dominant brown hair/eyes genes.
So yes, it could be done, but I really don’t think you should ‘special order’ your child to look a certain way. It’s your baby, you’ll love it anyway (i hope)
