I have been on yaz for a while now.
But lately i’ve been experiencing pregnancy symptoms like lower back pain, nausea, breats are tender , sleeping more, constipation, and indegestion. I took apregnancy test and it was negative but im still feeling the same way could it be from my birthcontrol?

wait for 2-3 dayz take another UPT..if it is still negative they are side effects…if u still dont get ur periods and it a more then 2 weeks delay better get a blood checkup done and meet a gynac..
A- If you can’t "tell the difference between birth control and pregnancy" there is more wrong with you than that. B- Pregnancy tests are NOT 100% accurate, nor is birth control 100% effective! C- GO SEE A DOCTOR!
Go to the doctor and get a blood test if you’re unsure.
If you were experiencing lower back pain, constipation, indigestion etc associated with a pregnancy, the pregnancy would be pretty well established and you’d know. If you were only a few weeks pregnant these things would not be issues yet.
Breast tenderness is very common when taking contraceptive pills as it is hormonally related.
Are you saying that the YAZ made you pregnant. Thats kinda strange.
It could be from your birth control….BC has tons of hormones in it. Take a test in another week to see if anything shows up, then check again the next week. If not, you’re probably not pregnant. Keep track of your menstral cycle and notice when you get your period and note other changes during your monthly cycle. It’s probably just the hormones in the BC.
If you’ve started recently, (say a month or two), it could just be the meds. There is also the chance you’re pregnant. Always use condoms with birth control tomake your chances of getting pregnant 0.000000000000000000000000000001%
Also, you could get an STI/STD and birth control doesn’t protect agains that.
probably.
Sometime I get those symptoms right before a very heavy period
Much heavier than my normal one
If your period is late, take a test before you start the new pack
Your best bet would be to go to the Yaz website and look at the side effects.
It’s always possible. Wait a week and take another test.
It is possible its your birth control. Although on rare occasions before i get my period i get those symptoms. So if you haven’t had your monthly visit yet that may be it. If you have already i would go talk to your doctor and ask him to tell you about other brands of Birth control.
How long have you been on birth control? Have you had these symptoms before? Usually this only happens the first few months you are on it, and then you adjust to it,,, it usually doesn’t continue but even if it did, you would be used to it. Usually once your body adjusts to it you don’t get new symptoms.
If your really feeling that something is off, I would wait a bit and take another test. Maybe 2 more weeks. They often don’t work early in pregnancy.
If you think you are pregnant, sometimes your body can behave as though it is so make sure it’s not just a mental thing.
Good luck!
ok i have a question. i had unprotected sex that lasted maybe a minute before i told him to stop. he hadnt ejaculated. 10 days later i got a normal-heavy period. could i be pregnant? or is that unlikely? i had taken one pill about an hour and a half late a week prior to this as well
btw, i should mention that i started YAZ 2 and a half months ago and am getting nauseated, cramps and upper abdominal pains. all of which are side effects of the pill, but also signs of early pregnancy. im really freaking out because im an extremely paranoid person
