My cat is pregnant (from our other cat) and she is constantly peeing on everything. We got a new couch 2 days ago, and she has already started peeing on that. Please help, before we are forced to get rid of her. Also, we believe she may be slightly mentally disabled.

She may have a urinary tract problem on top of the pregnancy. Peeing inappropriately is usually caused by a UTI, which can easily be treated. You should take her to the vet for a checkup. Also, see if she’s healthy enough to SAFELY deliver and care for this litter.
If your "other cat" is her brother, she should NOT be having his kittens. They could be deformed, mentally deficient, or stillborn………not a good idea for siblings to mate…..EVER !!
Hope you get her checked out ASAP, so that she can be treated before the kittens are born, IF you don’t have them aborted because of the sibling "problem".
Good luck.
A brick and a bucket of water.
I think what you should do is when you go to sleep I think you may have to put your pragnet cat outside
Um I believe they make a spray you can buy that makes dogs and cats not want to go. You can spray in on the carpet and furniture. But if all else fails you could try making her and outside cat for now. My cat goes in and outside the house. If you don’t want to do that and you feel you can not keep her then maybe someone on craigslist would want her or you could call a no kill shelter like the humane society. Maybe a vet could give you advice. I wish you luck.
the best thing i can suggest for you to do is put plastic over the area shes peeing on after you have cleaned it. ammonia cleanser smells just like their urine, so don’t use that to clean it up. try putting her toys in places where she pees so that maybe she wont pee there, put bits of food where she pees so she wont go there. definately use plastic to cover all the places she goes on. she may have a weak bladder from the pregnancy or even a uti. maybe a trip to the vet wouldn’t hurt to rule that infection out.
when you leave or go to sleep lock her in the laundry room but dont put her outside (too dangerous for a poor cat.).
when she gets on the couch put her back down and she will eventually learn not to get on the couch because she always ends up where she started from.
hope this helps
