  3. Jen says:

possibly, see your midwife or doctor.

That’s disgusting. Who get’s worms? Do you eat microwaved dog crap?

Don’t let anyone make you feel bad about getting worms. It happens. They are super contagious, and at some point, nearly everyone has had them.

I honestly don’t know what’s safe, but your doctor or pharmacist would. You need to get treated RIGHT AWAY because worms will steal the nutrients out of your system, and therefore away from your baby. Please make an appointment today.

Oh please you mean to tell us you have sense a doctor been diagnosed with worms AND expect us to believe he/she didn’t give a course of treatment?

How stupid do you think we are?

Removing worms from a dog is one thing but in humans it is different.

If you got worms so does the baby. Hey ! ! You’re going to give birth to worms & the baby will have to be wormed after birth.

God, what have you been doing to get worms. & what kind of worms? How do you know you got worms?

This is kinda funny if you got the right sense of humor.

I would suggest not taking anything to get rid of worms without checking with your doctor. It is quite common for animals (yes, humans are animals!) to get worms. It’s a good thing you are aware of the problem and it should be relatively easy to take care of in a manner that is safe for your baby.

On the question of the cats. It could be from the cats or eating food that carried the worm eggs. It’s important for you to have someone else clean the litter box while you are pregnant (for the health of the baby), since cat’s that go outdoors are possible carriers of Toxoplasmosis which can be shed to people if they have contact with the litter box. If the cats are indoor only, it’s is most likely not a problem, since cats get the toxo from exposure to raw meat. But it’s still a good idea of to have someone else clean the box while you are pregnant (preferably every day).

    Good luck and take care!

Could be. One girl told me she got worms every time she ate spam. Make sure you always wash your hands after handling your cats, worm your cats, and talk to your doctor about getting rid of worms.

This question should be for a doctor who has a degree in health care. Not for people who don’t know a thing about your situation. I would immediately go to the doctor preferably the doctor you are supposed to get your check-up from, since you are pregnant I’m sure you go and get them for your baby’s sake and yours. Best of Luck. I hope someone else is cleaning the litter box if you have one because pregnant woman aren’t supposed to be around cat urine.
