I dont know if fish get pregnant but if they do then what way is there to know if they are pregnant.
Well it is an orange platy fish that seems unusually fat the fish has been eating a lot lately. It is weird for this fish.

The platy should start to seclude itself, will eat more or stop eating, and will square off at the back of the anal fin when you see this sqaured off appearence you should have babies in 24-48 hours.
usually if the fish is pregnant look under the one you think is pregnant and if she is there will be a little black spot about the size of pepper.If she is pregnant get another tank ready just incase other fish will eat the fry.Good Luck!
