I have been taking depo shots for about a year and haven’t had my period in a year because of them, but now i think i am pregnant. I don’t want to go take a test but if i don’t find out soon i will have to. I have been hungry all the time lately and have used the bathroom more then normal. My friends are saying that there is a good chance of it, but my fiance doesn’t think so.

There is no other way to find out other than a test, since on Depo, you don’t get your periods.
because the baby will usually have a birth defect
well have u and him gotten it on lately?
if so then i would bet you are pregnant.
Well…. if you don’t want to take a test then I suppose there’s no way to find out huh? If you’re not getting your period due to your depo shot then the one clear sign of pregnancy being a missed period isn’t going to help you much.
Bite the bullet and take a test. If you’re pregnant you can start prenatal care as soon as possible. Not taking a test won’t make a pregnancy go away if you’re pregnant. Just do it.
I hope you don’t know when I’m pregnant when I take birth control.
To answer your question seriously, take a test. You should never not take one if you aren’t sure.
You should just take a test. It can’t hurt.
If you’re on the shot and use it correctly, then you’re probably not pregnant. Less than 1 out of 100 women get pregnant on the depot shot each year if they use it correctly.
Maybe you have a bladder problem.
I was told to start taking the pill after my period so i know i am not pregnant, the sunday after
It sounds as if there is a possibility that you may be pregnant especially with the increased urination and appetite, especially since birth control in any form is NEVER 100% effective. However, I would not panic yet as most oral and injection birth controls that discontinue your period can cause delayed symptoms that are synonymous to pregnancy symptoms. It is imperative that you think about, When you started getting the Depo shots because according to most physicians you should switch birth controls every few years to prevent the body from becoming immune to the medications, *not everyone becomes immune however its a possibility* so if you’ve been taking it for a long time, or not getting the shot on time there is an increased possibility that you are pregnant. I know it may be scary, but i think its in your best interest to take a pregnancy test and find out so that if you are pregnant, you can make proper dietary and lifestyle changes so the baby can develop properly as the first few months are the most vital developmentally speaking.
How do you know? You take a test.
There’s a whole list of symptoms – headaches, dizziness, tiredness, lower back aches, frequent urination, sore breasts or nipples. By about 4 or 5 weeks after sex usually morning sickness sets in. Any of these symptoms can come form other causes, but if generally you have several of them, there’s a good chance you are.
A missed period is also a good indicator, but you can have what look like periods, especially during early pregnancy (Google "decidual bleeding"), and many women can be irregular. So if you are not having your periods, that’s just one symptom you can’t tell from.
Basically, all you can do is test if you suspect your body is trying to tell you something. Every pergnancy is different; some women have almost no symptoms and don’t realize for months, others can tell before it’s been 2 weeks, others are miserable from the symptoms all 9 months..
Whether depo can fail, especially toward the end of your shot’s life? Every form of birth control can fail, nothing’s 100%.
So if you suspect – test. Better to know, so you can do whatever you need to, such as prenatal vitamins.
Good luck!
Trust me your pregnant. Best bet now is to get an abortion. Since conventional abortions cost money, i would suggest falcon punch. It is a procedure where u have a friend punch you in the stomach as hard as he possibly can. A broken spine is a sign that the falcon punch was successful. If your falcon puncher cannot break your spine, you should probably commit suicide.
