How do you tell the difference between period symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms?

"After one month of trying I became pregnant and had a beautiful healthy boy!"

"After over 7 years of trying to conceive and thousands of dollars spent on infertility treatments, I had actually succeeded to get pregnant the natural way without any drugs or medical intervention "

" I just wanted to say thank you for writing this program and for giving hope to women at my age. I am 46 and I am finally going to be a mother."

How do you tell the difference between period symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms? They’re so much alike! And I end up getting my hopes up every month. I am 11 DPO and I’ve been crampy with sore breasts since Monday. And just now I’m feeling weak and a little nauseous. I always cramp a few days before I start though so I’m trying not to think about it. I guess talking about it on here doesn’t help much huh? haha.

Nope haha.
I think it depends on what your norm is.
If the "symptoms" you have normally occur every month, i would assume they imply the same thing.
If they symptoms aren’t the norm, i would then assume you would be more likely to be pregnant.
Don’t look to tick boxes when analysing symptoms – look for variations from your normal cycle.
I know exactly how you feel! Unfortunately, it seems like the answer to that question is, you don’t. Nausea’s a good sign though; it’s less likely to be caused by pms. Beyond that, I guess we just have to do what you said and try not to think about it. Easier said than done! Good luck! ^_^
This is about the smartest post I’ve read today
You are so very right and it’s great to hear someone be realistic as well
Kudos to you. And yes, the symptoms are almost identical and the only thing that can divide them is a BFP or AF, which means waiting
Being on here is sometimes worse than the wait! Unless you stay true to your knowledge, which it sounds very much like you do
I hope they do. I hope no AF and you get to test and I really hope you get your BFP!
Look at the bright side, you can test in 4-8 days if the circumstances provide for such testing
Pregnancy symptoms can vary from one woman to another. In fact, some pregnant woman may not have any pregnancy symptoms at all for a while and another woman will know she is pregnant very easily just from her symptoms alone.
Some of the early pregnancy symptoms are the following:
missed menstrual period
morning sickness
frequent urination
mood swings
swollen and tender breasts
constipation
sensitivity to smell
fatigue
I know i do that all the time too. It sucks big time. But if you do feel nauseous then it is a very good sign but dont bring your hopes down and stress out. Just dont think about it and hopefully it works lol. Good luck:)
