How long after pregnancy do breasts continue to produce milk?

as long as they remain stimulated ie baby is drinking from them, they can produce milk for years. It took me 3 years to dry up completely and I only nursed for 14 months. I was like a well of never ending milk supply. If you don’t want to nurse you can use cabbage leaves and it helps dry up the milk. I would recommend nursing though if you can, its best for mom and baby.
mine only did for a week
Depends on the woman but normally they produce it until the baby is no longer needing the milk.
on demand..as far as baby is drinking u,ll be producing milk….
i assume you mean if you’re not going to breastfeed? it usually takes 1-2 weeks to completely dry up
Actually any woman can produce milk indefinitely, as long as someone is sucking it out your breasts will keep producing it. Most need to empty twice a day to keep production up. If you want to dry up it could take several weeks or even a few months to empty your body of the hormones.
