For most women, the missed period is the first symptom. (I’m baffled by the person who says you have symptoms 2-3 weeks before the missed period — you haven’t even OVULATED 3 weeks before the missed period!).

While a few women may have some symptoms a few days earlier, these early ‘symptoms’ can also mean PMS, or normal physical changes + obsessing. (I mean, we all have days when we feel extra tired, or crave chocolate, or are a little moody, or have some slight cramps, or our jeans feel tighter than usual. Most of the time, we wouldn’t give those ‘symptoms’ a second thought — we’re tired because we stayed up to late — but if we’re hoping to be pregnant, or scared of being pregnant, it’s easy to view those as ‘pregnancy symptoms.’

It does take a few days for HCG levels to rise enough to cause ANY physical changes, so really a couple of days before the missed period would be the earliest that symptoms would even be possible.

I didn’t get symptoms until I was 6 weeks. You generally miss your period before you get symptoms.

mine showed up the same week as my missed period, it was just sore boobs at that point

Its different with every pregnancy. With my son (whos now 5) I didnt reaize it until i missed my period. With this one now ( I am 20 weeks due in Oct ) I actually got EXTREMELY sick throwing up all day long a week BEFORE my missed period. I took the test the next day (that i was throwing up) and it came positive, therefore i found out a week before my missed period. :)

it depends on the person. some people feel them 2 or 3weeks before their missed period which include nausea and fatigue oh and also mood swings

Everyone is different but you can get sickness within about 2weeks and you start to feel very tearful within about 2weeks due to hormones but you dont show a bump untill about 3months.

Before a missed period? I wouldnt think most would have symptoms until at least 5-6 weeks so it doesnt seem to likely. But, we are all different.
