It is different for every one. Some people get pregnant right away, some people it takes a while. Every one is different. Some people have 3 kids, some people can never have any. I got pregnant 5 months after stopping the pill. But she probably shouldn’t attempt to get pregnant.

Some women get pregnant right away but for others it can take months for it to leave the system,it really is a case of wait and see.

I have a 6 year old son and for 5 of those years I was on the Mirena. Now for the last year I’ve been trying to get pregnant again and it’s just not happening. I’ve heard people call it, "The Mirena Year" cause that’s how long it takes before all the "stuff" is out of your system and then I’ve also heard that some people get pregnant right away. I guess it depends on the person, everyone is different.
