How long did it take you to conceive your second?

My daughter is 14 months and I would really like to conceive my second very soon!! We got pregnant with my daughter fairly easily, although now I am very over weight, never really lost it after my pregnancy. I have joined the gym and am taking steps to loose weight and become healthy, though I have heard it is sometimes harder to conceive the second? Is this true and how long did it take you?
Maybe it just depends on the person…shouldn’t be too long if you conceived your first easy. I got pregnant with our 2nd when our 1st was only 4 months old (not on purpose). Just be stress free & relax and that baby will come. Good luck!
If it was easy to conceive your first it should be fairly easy to conceive your second. I got pregnant with my son my first time having sex, now he’s nearly 3 and it only took me 4 months after getting my IUD removed (although I only saw my husband twice, military wife!) to get pregnant with my 2nd! I’m now 6 weeks pregnant, I might have miscarried, but it didn’t take me long to conceive. After losing some weight, it should make it very easy!

Unfortunately, my first was 17 months and my trainer had just helped me START getting back into shape.. I was happy though, cause I knew I always wanted more than one child, but I guess I wasn’t prepared for how fast it can happen.. So, I was vomiting SICK carrying my second while still carrying around a 1 1/2 yr old… It was crazy! But I loved it <3
I was pregnant with my second the first month after I stopped taking birth control. I still had 15lbs of baby weight on me from my first baby, who was 13 months old when I conceived.

I’ve been trying for about 2 months to conceive my second child, and just found out today that I’m pregnant.
My first pregnancy took me 2 years to conceive. So I guess it’s just all about timing and luck. I’m overweight also.
