2 months twice and not trying to conceive the 3rd time i.e. a surprise.

It can easily take a year though.

first of all, congratulations on embarking on this amazing journey. Please just relax. You must familiarize yourself with how your body works. Track your cycles, and be aware that mother nature is VERY VERY smart. Notice that before and after your period, "everything" is rather dry…but as ovulation approaches, suddenly you are more "fluid" down below. This is when you are fertile. Your body is helping you with the lubrication process…in anticipation of"visitors" the vaginal environment becomes more hospitable. Try to "stock up" and not have sex while you are in the dry stage. When you notice things getting wetter, take advantage…this is the reverse of how the rhythm method works. (Rhythm method was a, marginal at best, birth control method practiced in the 60s and 70s.) You have sex on the dry days, to avoid getting pregnant. Good Luck!

omg we tried for 3 years, i hope that not your case, baby dust for you, but here is a very cool tip that worked for me, try to have sex in the early morning around 5 or 6 am, also be on top and try not to think about getting pregnant. lay in bed for a while right after ur done, dont go straight to the bathroom

    good luck <3

Me and my boyfriend conceived after six months and I am now inbetween 15 and 16 weeks pregnant, but during the first 2 months my period had disappeared due to the fact I had just quit the pill. I was also under an awful lot of stress. I kept on thinking I was pregnant but I wasn’t. I got scared it wasn’t going to happen but eventually it did. As soon as I stopped thinking about getting pregnant, it happened by surprise. Six months still isn’t a long time, some people try for years. I hope you have a lovely baby this time next year. There are so many women on here that say "with me it was the first try" but that’s generally only a 1 in 4 chance. Most people take a couple a months. The statistics are is that 99% of couples will conceive eventually, whether it be through sex, clomid, or IVF.
