    How long: http://www.askdramy.com/howlong.html

    "For couples having unprotected intercourse:

50% will be pregnant in 4 months
75% will be pregnant in 8 months
90% will be pregnant in 1 year"

It depends on if your gf is being seen by a regular OB-GYN or a fertility doctor. At a fertility clinic they’ll test your blood before you even miss your period. A regular OB-GYN will wait for you to diagnose yourself — around 4-6 weeks pregnant. Some doctors will have you come in right away and other will have you wait until you’re closer to 9 weeks along.

Women can become pregnant after ectopic pregnancies provided they don’t loose both ovaries. Here’s a link about tubal pregnancies: http://www.pregnancy-info.net/pregnancycomp_2.html

If her tubes have been tied then her odds of becoming pregnant are extremely low. Although there are cases of women who’s tubes grow back. Here’s a link: http://www.ccli.org/nfp/contraception/tubal.php

If your gf has a history of ectopic pregnancies and has had her tubes tied and you want to have a child I think you should talk to a fertility doctor. I’d say her best be is to use fertility treatments. I’ve read that women who’ve lost their tubes to pregnancy are great candidates for fertility treatments. I think your gf history is similar.

    Good Luck

Pretty rare, but there is always a chance.

If she has had her tubes tied, how does the egg reach the womb?
I dont know if she can ever get pregnant, if she has had this proceedure done….

You should see proper medical advice about this.

statistically speaking, it can take a normal, healthy, fertile couple an average of 12 months to fall pregnant. With her tubes ties i think it would be highly unlikely as once the egg has been released it cant reach the womb.

My mother in law had her tubes tied after her 5th child and remarkably she got pregnant, dont ask me how,she had them removed….weird huh? Anything is possible

  6. Jinna L says:

her chances are not good for getting preg if her tubes are tied

  7. BanginChick<3 says:

Being that she has her tubes tied, it’s really rare. Allthough if she did get pregnant she’d probably have another tubal.
