It usually takes within a year for a couple to conceive if they still haven’t conceived within a year you should go to the doctor . and the first question they will ask is how long you’ve been trying to conceive . if it hasn’t been at least a year they will tell you to keep trying and if by a year you haven’t gotten pregnant they have many things they can do to help!.

You should be seeing a doctor already if you are trying to conceive. You know, setting up for prenatal care.

I have herd that it takes up to a year for an average couple to conceive for the first time.

It only took me and my boyfriend 4 months to conceive the first time and it ended in miscarriage (May). Now we are TTC again and its been almost 6 months.

If you haven’t got pregnant with in a year of trying you need to see a doctor, b/c you or your partner could have a fertility problems

With my first, I was 20 when we conceived our daughter and it took us about 5 months, after coming off the pill.

With this pregnancy, I was 21 when we conceived and it took us the same amount of time also.

  5. xxchazxx says:

Typically it takes the average healthy couple anything up to 1 year to conceive with only a 25% chance of conception every cycle, if after 1 year you still have not got pregnant then you would have to go and get fertility investigated.
    Good luck.

Just depends on the woman.I had my first at 16 using condoms,my second at 25 while on the Pill and am currently pregnant with my 3rd (I’m 33 now) that took us 2 months of ttc.On average up to a year. But some women get pregnant the first time they try and others takes them much longer.Good luck.
