when i came off the pill it took me a year to get pregnant,i didn’t think it was going to ever happen. it takes time to get out of your system, we are all different you could be the lucky one & get pregnant straight away.good luck

I think you can start right away.. your body will decide when it will conceive. Good luck!

After you stop taking the pill, it takes a while before your body can become pregnant but go ahead and start trying after…its always fun to try LOL :) Good luck…oh also, i had the IUD and they said it takes about a year to get pregnant after taking it out. The pill im sure is a lot less but it will take a bit of time.

I was told by my doc to wait one full month before trying…to let the pill out out of your system.

  9. Katie says:

wait at least one month, and start taking your prenatal vitamins now.

You can start right now, weather you will be successful or not is the question.

  11. Marie C says:

Don’t start trying for 6 months, you have to let the lining or your uterus build back up, the birth control pills make it thin. I know this because I miscarried from getting pregnant to soon after stopping, My doc said it is best for the baby if you start taking prenatal vitamins and give your body six months to get all you hormones straight and your yuterus ready to carry a baby.

  12. chidibaby says:

No need to wait. Go ahead and you could be pregnant sooner than you expected. There is no harm in trying to be pregnant after discontinuing birth control pill. Why wait? Body systems are quite different. Some could be months or even years to get back. Start taking supplement like folic acid, Vitamin E and so on to get your body nurished and back on track.

  13. Prickle's Back! says:

do it ASAP. even though many women get pregnant immediately after stopping birth control pills; many other women do not, and it ends up taking a while for them to get pregnant; whether this is due to some other medical condition is possible; whatever the case, start charting your basal body temp on fertility friend and use condoms around ovulation if you want to hold off TTC.
