How long to stay off birth control to get pregnant?

I know this varies for many people, but I take yaz my boyfriend and I are planning to get pregnant in March 2010 because the timing will be right. How many months do I have to stop taking my pill in order for a high chance to get pregnant. It’s hard to explain I know.
I don not know how long you will have to stay but I would like to advise you instead of using this please use the natural way of birth control.
Usually doctors will recommend you are off of the pill a month just to get your cycle back to normal before you start trying. Some people can get pregnant the month they go off the pill, some are very unlucky and are not pregnant years after they go off the pill. The average time it takes to conceive is 6 months. If you want to conceive in March 2010 I would go off for a few months and use other methods of protection. I would then start tracking your cycle just to get a handle on it. You will increase your chances if you know when you are ovulating.

just depends…i was on the pill for 10 years and quit 4 months ago..no baby yet!
I was on the bc pill for 8 years. I went off it 16 months ago to get pregnant. So far nothing yet. I always thought it would be just a couple months without it and i would get pregnant, boy was i wrong, lol. Plan for it to possibly take a while or not every woman is different. Good luck, i hope it happens for you when you would like it too.
I think at the least about a month. But if you want to get pregnant I suggest about a year before if you have been taking it for a long time now. But then again, some people get pregnant while taking the pill regularly.
