I’ve been on birth control for a little over a year, and just stopped a little over a week ago. My boyfriend and I are taking the next step in our relationship and want to conceive and get married. We had unprotected sex last night, and I was just wondering if it is too soon to become pregnant or if last night could have done it. I know I cannot take a test just yet, but I’m just wondering how long it takes after stopping birth control. Thanks!

once you get your period again then you can start. i was on birth control for almost 2 years. i stopped taking it and within 3 days i got my period. everyone is different though but usually women that take birth control have a higher chance of getting pregnant once they stop taking it
