My partner and I are not per-say trying to have a baby but we are not "not trying" either. So I am not checking on fertility days or anything like that, we are just having intercourse whenever and not using any protection. We are doing this because I am ready for a baby and he somewhat is but doesnt want to purposefully try. At this rate, how long do you think it would take to conceive?

When I was trying, it took us 6 months…when I was not trying it happened the first month.
If you really want one, the first day after your period ends that you feel yourself getting really wet down there, have sex. Have fun sex. Do that the next day too. When you get really wet like that, where it’s very wet when you wipe to go to the bathroom, it means you are about to ovulate. That is the time to have sex. Sperm can live for days in the female body.

If you want a baby, it will take forever.

If you don’t want a baby, it will happen on the first try with a partner you can’t stand and only hooked up with because you were both drunk.

I was on the pill for 15 years before TTC and it took us about 6 months.

My husband and I did the same you are. Not trying, but we figured it would take a few months, so we weren’t in a hurry or anything. Well, we actually got pregnant within the first month we were "not trying" lol. Its different for everybody tho, could take you months or a year, you never know, and there is no way of knowing how long it will take either.

  7. Raquel says:

Took less than 3 months each each of my pregnancies.
