How many ultrasounds do women usually get in a normal pregnancy?

I have insurance with UHC and there is no limit to ultrasounds. I am 11 weeks pregnant and just wondering how many ultrasounds total do women usually get in a normal pregnancy?
It depends on both ur dr and ur insurance. If ur insurance allows as many as ur dr orders than it all depends on ur dr. Also, if u have complications or a high risk pregnancy u usually get alot. I am high risk and I have had 2…my 3rd is on the 28th which is 2 weeks from today. I will be 17 weeks and 6 days and am hoping to find out girl/boy
I will probably have at least 2 or 3 more. Some dr will give just one if everything is fine and some will give 2 or 3. Just depends on ur dr. Good luck!!
Depends who your doctor is. Some are really nice and request more, where as in normal pregnancy usually 2-3 ultrasounds.
I’ve had 10 so far, going for my 11th next week. I can’t wait.
i have heard 3 for a normal pregnancy. 1 to comfirm, 1 to tell you the sex and to take sure everything is progressing ok and 1 when your almost ready. I hope they give you more tho so you can see your babies developement.

However, I had an early pregnancy scan at 6 weeks (due to being out of the country and my doc wanted to check) but these arent that common
Then I had one at 14 weeks (normally the 12 week scan)
Then one at 22 weeks (the 20 week scan)
They say unless there are problems you only get around 2 here.

hi most will have a dating scan at about 12weeks.. have a abnormality/sex scan at 20 weeks and if u want a home birth u would have one at 37weeks
