For KK Women’s and Children’s hospital and Mount Alvernia Hospital, it’ll cost you about $1000 – $2500 depending on the class of ward you’re staying in and how your baby is going to be delivered (Natural or Caesarean). You can check the website for more details.

Thomson Medical Centre would cost you about $1000-$3000 also depending on the above mentioned factors.

I heard from my friends that Raffles Hospital and Mt Elizabeth Hospital would cost you more because they are private hospitals. You can enquire through their website.

its very difficult to calculate the expenses for pregnancy and childbirth. during pregnancy u may or may not hv complications so thus, to & fro to the doc does costs alot..for childbirth, u can plan for normal delivery if u can as it cost lesser than caesarean, it also depends which class u choose too. its best to chk with the hospitals itself as diffierent hospital have different charges.

forget the childbirth expenses dear.. think of the expenses that lie ahead of you and your husband in the next twenty-five years.. the baby’s Uni fees etcetera.. now think again..

Try to get PR first, since it’s a huge difference in amount.I’ve given birth in Mount Elizabeth Hospital before i became PR and it was expensive, since I’m a foreigner. And amount also depends,if there any complications with you or your child. We had some and it cost us S$ 8K,i mean just delivery, but the check ups before and after also cost a lot.Strongly recommend you to get PR first.
