To be more specific, I would like to know from pregnant women or mothers what is normal in early pregnancy how often the fetus moves? For instance, once or twice a day. Or, once an hour. Movement in response to light or sound possibly.

well I am 17 weeks and I have only felt my baby move once or twice so far, both times I had just woke up and was laying still in bed and felt like what seemed to be a butterfly or a fish swimming in my stomach (sounds crazy, but that is what it felt like). When I went for my ultrasound last week the baby was all over the place, basically bouncing off of my uterus! He was tossing and turning and flipping and kicking, I would really like to know how I don’t feel that! The doctor told me today that I should feel the baby more within the next week or so! I can’t wait…
I felt my son move at sixteen weeks and my daughter at eighteen. My son moved all the time, my daughter wasn’t as active. The best thing to do is lay down and concentrate on your tummy. You might feel little flutters. It is…breathtaking. Then they start kicking you all the time…
