Yesterday I was asking how long it took for some of you to conceive. Alot of answers were a year or more. Can I ask the age of the women trying to conceive and how long it took or is taking. I know the older you get the less your chances become but isn’t that not until 36 or so that that becomes true?

I’m 22, we have been trying consistently for about a year, we got pregnant and lost the baby in March at 11 weeks. We’ve tried in the past but it was more of a "just let it happen" but it never did, so then we started the charting and seeing our doctor to find out I had PCOS, since we just lost our baby we are now trying again, wish us luck!
My first pregnancy I was 23, took 5mnths, 3 cycles to conceive.
This time around I am 25, working on 3mnths, 2 cycles and have not conceived.
Baby Dust!
For me – age 27 took 2 months, age 30 took 12 months.
Although, I’m not sure if it took longer the second time because of my age. I think it just worked out that way!
i’m 24 and we’ve sort of trying since we got marred 4 years ago. but we just made a doc appointment and are going to start really trying! wish us luck!!!
sending lots of luck ur way!
first pregnancy I was 27 and I got pregnant when I wasn’t trying. Now that I am trying again I am 32 and we’ve been trying for over a year!
I hate to be the obnoxious one that said I got pregnant right away, but after about 7 months unprotected but not "trying…" we tried one month and I just got my positive test for baby #2. I’m 25.
I was married at 21 and we didn’t use any protection, again not "trying", but just letting either way, and it took about 8 months for me to get pregnant without trying then. I bet age does play into it…especially since sperm count lowers with men’s age–my husband is now 30….if you’re wanting to know the male perspective.
I am 32. We’ve been trying over four years.
23 we have been trying for 17 months. we are getting a sperm donor for june
Well I guess I will take the gold medal of being the most obnoxious one here … my husband is military and is often away at random times which means we usually only get one or two days to conceive. The first time, I was 19 (no I do not care to hear comments about my age) and we got pregnant in the first cycle with 2 "tries". We started trying to conceive again for our second baby this month, and he made it back in time to try once before ovulation was done. (I am now 21) I took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago with a faint line, so I will retest again in a few days!
20…working ttc my second child…first one was not planned but i love her too death
I am 26 and my fiance is 30. We have been TTC for 5 months with no luck so far
I’m 35. We’ve been TTC for our first child the past 6 months without any luck yet. It’s quite frustrating because I don’t understand my plumbing at all. Womens’ bodies are confusing lol! I have always known exactly to the day when my period would show up and now in my mid, going on late, 30s it’s changing and making it hard to track ovulation and all that stuff.
I am 39, and have been ttc for 15 years. Read my profile, it gives you my ttc story, as well as a link to my very personal infertility blog.
