I’m almost 100% positive I had a chemical pregnancy. I got tons of + pregnancy tests, then got my period and tested negative after. We were really excited about having one since it was going to be our first. We want to start trying again this month. I’d just like to know when I’ll be fertile again in order to conceive? Does it take awhile or can you get pregnant right away?
How did you prevent a chem. pregnancy in order for it to stick?

hey hun……….im SOOO sorry….=( Well from what I have heard that post m/c your much more fertile. Make sure that you use the OPK (ovulation predictor kits!) so they can predict your surge!!! Also upon having a positive OPK make sure you bd for 4 nights in a row! Positive ovuation test you can expect to ovulate b/w 12-48 hours after. After the egg is released (ovulation) the egg is viable for a max of 48 hours. So thats a 4 day window!!!!! GOOD LUCK HUN!!!!!!!! TONS OF BABY DUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EDIT::: Its VERY important that your taking folic acid. most prenatals have the folic acid in them but I would talk to your dr and make sure your getting enough of it!!! ALSO have them check your progesterone out!!! Also-if you were testing early im not sure if u were or weren’t but wait till your expected period date bc sometimes the chemcial pregnancy can happen before your expected period and a lot of women didn’t even know it happend. GOOD LUCK HUN!!! <3 I really hope you get your sticky BFP!!!<3
You can get pregnant right after having a chemical pregnancy. They say about 50% of pregnancies end that way, and usually it is not your fault, just the way the egg/sperm fused together wasn’t going to produce an optimal baby. The best thing you can do is just take vitamins every day, eat a well-balanced diet, and relax. Once you start seeing clear/snotty discharge, you should start going at it, since that is when you’re most fertile. It’ll dry up right after you ovulate, and then you should wait 10-14 days to test. Goodluck!!
That’s very sad, I hope everything is okay and you do end up having a healthy child. Pregnancies can be very stressful.
You should be fertile right away, although your doctor might advise to wait a couple of months before trying to conceive.
