How soon after a miscarriage should we start trying to conceive again. My doc says 2 weeks but I’m actually afraid of even having sex in 2 weeks much less conceiving. This happened 12 days ago and I feel ok, but I’m just afraid I might not be healed properly. By the way I was just 4 weeks along and didn’t know I was pregnant yet.

I would wait at least 2 cycles, and see how you are feeling at that time..And I am sorry for your loss..Good luck!!

I’ve discovered that DR’s all have differing opinions on this. My friend miscarried at 11 weeks and was told to wait 2 months before trying. I also had a friend who miscarried at 8 weeks and was told to wait 3 months. Personally, I would try as soon as I felt ready too. Good Luck!
