My fiance and i are planning to try and get pregnant this year. I plan to stop the contraceptive pill in july this year and we plan to start trying straight away. I would like to know of those woman out their who were on the pill – how long after you stopped the pill did it take for you to fall pregnant? I have been on the pill for about 4 1/2 years.
I was on for 5(ish) years, and got pregnant 3 months after I stopped. We weren’t trying to get pregnant (a happy accident
) Now I’m pregnant with my second, and this time it took us 5 months of trying. It’s hard to say how long it will take!

i stopped february ’09 and got pregnant around august ’09

I was on the pill for about 5 years. I stopped a year ago due to medical reasons but he still used protection till Nov’08. We got pregnant fairly quickly…i.e. Jan 09 Good luck.
