You should probably schedule an appointment so that he can confirm your pregnancy and start you on your prenatal vitamins. He will probably schedule all the tests you need to make sure you and your baby are healthy. At each visit, they will let you know when the next time you need to see the doctor again.
    Congratulations and good luck!

My doctors office wouldnt see me til around 8 weeks. They preformed the first ultrasound at this time to confirm pregnancy and due date. Best to start taking folic acid til you can get to the doctor. Congrads on your pregnancy!!!

You can go in and get a pregnancy test with them. Then, they pretty much say…..yep, your pregnant, see you in 3 months.

or….start to take your prenatal vitamins immediately. Then, go in around 12 weeks. A lot of times, if you are a military wife….or a woman in the military……..they won’t see you before 3 months. Some medical offices follow that rule as well.Think about it, nothing they can do before that…..they will see you after you make it thru the 1st trimester…..so the risk of miscarriage is pretty much completely over. Then…..there are things to test for and monitor.

    Around 12 weeks. Relax :0)

call the doctor you will be going to and see what they say.

most likely they will want to confirm it, but if not then they will set up an appointment.
i went to the doctors for the first time when i was 12 weeks.
ive heard its around 8 to 12 weeks. it all depends on what your doctor says.

  7. Veronica Ambriz says:

as soon as possible the sooner the better and your baby has a way better chance of being more healthier then if you wouldn’t of gone so soon

  8. The Deranged Housewife says:

They probably won’t see you until around 8-12 weeks. Totally normal. There is really no reason to rush to the doctor immediately as you already have a positive test. Just starting taking prenatals and waiting a couple weeks won’t hurt. They may not be able to get you in right away anyway.

  9. Nicole says:

ASAP. They need to confirm the pregnancy and start the process. Your supposed to call as soon as you take a positive HPT.
