I’ve read anywhere from a month to a year or more. I guess the sooner, the better, but I’m hoping to find an answer with some solid research to back it up. I’m not pregnant now and I’m not planning on becoming pregnant soon, but I want to be safe when we do.

it all depends on how much you smoke, how much water you drink, how active you are, how much you weigh. like the less you smoke the less time it will stay in your system. the fatter you are the longer it will stay in your system because the THC sticks to fat… and so on and so on. normal range is like 30-45 days. then again if you surf the web people say its safe to smoke weed throughout the whole pregnancy

hahaha I don’t know…doesn’t take long to come out of your system completely, so I would say wait however long it takes to come out of your system before you start trying lol

I know that it takes one month to get marijuana out of your system. At one month it is not detectable in your urine or blood. There maybe some left over in your internal organs for longer.

I don’t really think their is a time frame. It’s not healthy to do any type of drug when your pregnant but I know plenty of females who smoked all during their pregnancy. I would stop as soon as you found out you were pregnant though just in case something can go wrong!

Omg….why do you even smoke it in the first place!!! You should of quit smoking that crap the day you started it!

Quit now if you plan on having a baby in 2 years time! You need a clear head to become a mother. No one who is under that influence can i NO way plan a healthy future, its just not realistic!

You need to quit for you NOW, not just for a baby!!!!

I’m sure I’m going to get a million thumbs down for this. But up until your third trimester its O.K to smoke in moderation. Its great for morning sickness (although it might increase cravings :p)
Pot is so safe it’s not even close to tobacco or alcohol.
My recommendation is to to use a vaporizer or ingest it though, because the smoke can be harmful. But the THC and other cannaboids is fine.
Honestly I know alot of women who smoked (including my mom!) and it WILL NOT hurt you or your baby.
If you really don’t want to during your pregnancy though, I would give it atleast a month to clear out your system for an avid smoker (daily) or just a couple days (once or twice a month).
It will guaranteed be out of your body completely within 35-40 days, trust me, I’ve dealt with plenty of U.A’s.
I hope I helped and good luck on your baby!
Also kudos to you for caring enough to ask :D
