I was just wondering how early anyone has ever gotten a regular pregnancy test to test positive. Also, have you ever had one come up completely negative, then come up positive shortly after?
My 1st never came up postive until I was 6 months…
2nd came up pos in 6 weeks
3rd it was 8 week
4th it was 5 weeks…
with my 2nd 8 days before my missed period . with my first i tested everyday an the test came up negative untill i was 13 days late

Yes, I got negatives on Wednesday, and by Thursday morning, I could see faint, but visible lines..
I took a first response test, and it came up positive whe I was 4 weeks pregnant.
They say not to read negative tests even a couple of minutes after the time it takes to read them. This causes a false test, because the pee colours the line… even though it’s not a positive.
The day AF was supposed to show.
My wife’s was positive about 6 days before her missed period. Actually it was sooner, she was having an operation for a cyst 4 days after ovulation and they accidentaly order a quantitative HCG and it was just elevated above baseline. We were sooo happy, and then she went into surgery!
Some of the slower tests were negative and then after about 6 minutes (after the test was invalid) showed positive, so we repeated in two days and it was positive.
6dpo (days past ovulation). it was very faint so I took a digital test at 7dpo or seven days before my period was due. also if a test is negative and then it turns positive with in the time limit it is positive. If a test is negative and then shows up positive after the time limit or is grey or white in color it is an evaportion line and you should repeat your test the following day to a couple of days later in the morning with first morning urine.
I took the test 3 days before my missed period and the positive line showed up every quickly, 30 seconds or so.
i found out thru home pregnancy test that i was pregnant right @ 4 weeks. it takes 3 weeks for pregnancy to show a difference in the blood and 4 weeks in urine. yes it is possible to have a false positive. consulting a physician is best if one test says positive and another says negative. i took 4 pregnancy tests just to be certain i was pregnant and all came out positive.
Well, i was 5 weeks when i found out, but thats because they go by your lmp….i know when i got pregnant and it was at the beginning of that month, so technically 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant. Hope that helps!
