How soon is it possible to get pregnant after you’ve ceased getting the Depo shot?
I stopped about two months ago, and got my period shortly after. Does this mean i am able to get pregnant now?
I was on the depo shot for 2 1/2 years and I had stopped because my husband and I wanted to have a baby. It took about 8 months to get a period and they were irregular. After I started getting them it took 4 months to become pregnant with my son so all together it was a year. Hope this helps

I was on depo and got my period but it doesn’t mean that you are ovulating. On average it takes 1 year to get your system back to normal and pregnant. Very very few people get pregnant right away.

It took me 11 months to get pregnant with regular cycles for 9 of those months.
Expect it to take around 1 year.
It can take up to a year for the Depo to completely leave your system – it took me almost 2 years to get pregnant with first after being on Depo – I could never recommend this for anyone
