How many did you have to take take before you got a positive? I am just curious because I am over a week late and I have taken two pregnancy tests and they have both come up negative. I would go and have a blood test taken, but I am currently visiting my boyfriend overseas and would much rather wait until we get back to the U.S. around the middle of next month to have one done at my doctor’s.

Always had correct answers with home pregnancy tests. And if you are over a week late, I would really trust the results.
When I suspected something, my boyfriend and I went and bought a test that contained two… the first one I took was negative…
But the second one was a VERY faint pink line. I showed it to him and he claims he didnt see anything, and then we involved his mother on knowing that there was a posibility, and she saw the test and also claimed that there wasnt a pink line… So i scheduled a doctors appointment, and found out that I was 3 weeks pregnant.
SO the test I had taken was correct. I think that they didnt want to belive I was.
And it shown me as early as three weeks!
i took an early response test 4 days before i was due for my next period and it came up positive almost instantly, with that said tho my sister in law had 4 negative hpt and was actually 8wks (which was confirmed by bloods) so it just depends on the hormone levels in your body, they may may be strong enough to show up on a hpt test yet
The first one I took was accurate and was actually more accurate than the one I took at the doctor’s office. Try taking the First Response one if you haven’t already.
I took one, from the dollar store no less, when I was 3 days late and it came back positive.
they work really well…you might wanna check it out at the doctors but my guess is that you are not pregnant.

i got one of the cheaper kinds and the first one was a little fuzzy but i could tell and then a few hours later i was so freaked out that i took another one and it was clear as day. even if there is a fiant line you can almost count on being prego. take another in a week or so.
My friend in Jr. High did a science fair project on this idea. Walmart gave him like 15 different brands of test and his 5 month pregnant aunt took all of them. almost a third came back negative. The only guarantee is that there are no false positives. If it says yes, start looking for strollers.
