If I have sex unprotected 5 days before I ovulate and produce an abundant amount of fluid + use some lubrication. Can the sperm survive in me long enough to conceive on this exact cycle?
Definitely. More fluid and lubrication makes it easier for the little guys to swim, actually, so it’s not like you are "washing them out". It will make you more likely to conceive for that reason and for another – the normal environment in there is mildly acidic. The drier you are, the more acidic, but more wet is more dilute, meaning a less hostile einvironment for the little swimmers, which means they can swim farther and deeper, swim stronger, more survive, and live longer – long enough to meet your egg.
Most bottled lube can be hostile to sperm and the avg life of sperm is 2-3 days but they can live up to 5. Anything is possible.
