I had a miscarriage and just had my D&C last week. If I TTC again would I be considered high risk and need to be monitored more?

Sorry about your miscarriage, I have had one and the next time I got pregnant they didn’t treat me as high risk but I am sure each doctor is different so I would be sure to ask him or her the next time you see them. Best of luck to you.
I do not believe you’d be considered high risk.. unless there was a medical reason for your miscarriage. I miscarried around 5 weeks ..2 years ago. I got pregnant about 5-6 months later and was not considered high risk.

more than likely your doctor will not consider you high risk. a first trimester miscarriage with or without a D&C is pretty common. i myself had to have a d&c after miscarrying twins at 12 weeks, i got pregnant again after 2 months and i was not considered high risk, and my pregnancy went fine. however if there were certain reasons for the miscarriage such as early cervix dilation, ect, your dr may feel that high risk is right. good luck with everything and im sorry for your loss, just remember everything happens for a reason.
Each doctor handles it differently. Some doctors won’t consider you high risk until you have had 3 consecutive miscarriage. I had a miscarriage last year, it was my first pregnancy and miscarriage and when I got pregnant this year my doctor immediately considered me high risk. It’s a question you should ask your doctor.
no, sadly miscarriages are rather common. However if you have two or three especially in a row then you would need testing and then perhaps you would be high risk.
