Is it likely to get pregnant in the first week of birthcontrol when you missed a pill and had unprotected sex? Obviously I’m at high risk but now I have brown spotting? What’s that mean? Could it mean I’m pregnant? It’s been about 5 days since the sex and I think I just got done ovulating (noticed egg white cervical mucus) which is now gone and replaced by the brown spotting.
Not to mention I have heartburn, head aches, exhausted feeling and EXTREME BLOAT in stomach area!!!
Thanks

  1. Liam's mommy says:

If this was your very first week of birth control…as in you’ve never taken birth control before, there is a chance you could be pregnant since you are supposed to use a backup method for 7 days after you start. if you mean that it was the first week of your new pack after your period….and you only missed 1 pill….and you took it when you remembered (even if it was at the same time as your next one), its very unlikely you’re pregnant.
