I heard that you can only get pregnant twice every month. Is it possible to conceive at any time of the month?
Yes… and No!
You ovulate once a month, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you have your period at that time. For some women, it is 1 or 2 weeks after. Unless you are extremely in "tune" with your body, you may not know exactly when you are ovulating.
You can only get pregnant when you are ovulating, but you may not know when that is. There is only a small window of opportunity. It seems very large for those that are sexually active every day.
So it could be twice a calender month. Once at the beginning, and once at the end. The next month would only be once.

It depends on how your body works and what cycle you have.
Based on a 28 day cycle, day 1 is the first day of your period, then day 14 will be the day you will roughly ovulate, but you are fertile 2 days before and 2 days after.
It is possible to concieve any time of the month it just depends when you body releases the egg, and also sperm can live in the vagina for up to 72 hours to 5 days.
Also some woman do ovulate twice a month, ive had it happen to me this month i had 3 positive opk’s in a week and a half and spoke to midwife about it.
