I ask because I have normal fertility labs, normal semen analysis by my husband, normal ultrasound, etc. We have been TTC for 11 months now, and I am curious if anyone else took as long as we are to conceive but don’t have any fertility problems. Did you conceive after a long time of trying, but have no problems?

Thanks in advance.

We were TTC for about 5 years before we got pregnant. We thought we may have had some fertility issues, but blood tests were normal. They had no real explanation for why we weren’t getting pregnant, and we didn’t have the insurance coverage or money to do extensive fertility testing. Long story short, we just celebrated our 6 year anniversary, and I am now 7 weeks pregnant. It really does happen when you least expect it, because we had stopped "trying".

Stop trying and it will happen. Keep having sex everyday or every other day and it will happen. Don’t stress over it. It might be in the next 2 months you try that. Good Luck!

Possible… but the longer you wait your chances decreases by a certain percent every year.- March of Dimes book "Fertility Facts".

How old are you? You shouldn’t have to worry until 6 months to a year depending on your age. 35 and over typically 6 months, under 35 typically 1 year. First I think your fiance and you need to RELAX, stress will effect your fertility. Also after 6-months to 1 year it is good to contact a fertility specialist.
