I am on month 2 of trying, (I know, thats not long and that it can take up to a year) I have been calculating ovulation and having sex every fertile day possible. I know I am being a really impatient person! I am just wondering how long it took you to get pregnant and how often does it happen within the first three months of ttc?

It took us 5 months of trying. I think I read that around 80% of couples get pregnant within the first 6 months. I’m not sure what the percentage is for 3 months though.
2 years 4 months. Finally my doctor put me on Chlomid and it happened with the first dose (they say it takes up to 6). But I have Poly Cystic Ovaries (PCOS) so I wasn’t ovulating regularly. Check with your doctor if you’re worried, but two months is not long enough to worry yet. The doctor probably will tell you the same thing, but simple blood tests can let you know if something is going on.
I had sex everyday for a month and got pregnant that same month. lol That was our first time trying. And i have a heart shaped uterus working against me, try having sex everyday! It really works!
i stopped taking my pills in march and got pregnant late june. i was on my pills for 3 yrs. so yeah its frustrating… it’ll happen though. good luck.
We tried for 3 years on our own the first time, with absolutely no results until after 6 months of fertility treatment, ending with a diagnosis of unexplained infertility and one successful round of IVF. So, the first time it took us a total of 3.5 years.
The second time, we did it naturally, just charted my basal body temperature through http://www.fertilityfriend.com, took FertilAid for Women ( http://www.fertilaid.com), and on our 4th and final month of trying I used Instead Softcups to keep his sperm pooled close to my cervix after baby making sex. I am now 19 weeks pregnant with a naturally conceived little girl, after only 4 months of trying.
me and my husband had sex, but he didn’t want the condom on because he said that the lightning wouldn’t strike twice, well then my birth controll failed and I ended up getting pregnant at 45 years of age, and my baby is due in February.
6 weeks, but I think that just means we were really lucky.
Well with baby #1 it took almost a year and a half of ttc. I was charting and using a calendar…exhausting. This time we let what ever will be will be and just had sex whenever with no protection and got pregnant in 6 months….currently I’m 5-6 weeks along! Good luck!!!
