You both need to have yeast infection treatment at the SAME time to get rid of it once and for all, otherwise you’ll both keep reinfecting each other.

Yeast doesn’t cause infertility, but it’s going to make the process of getting pregnant pretty un-enjoyable. Also, if you do conceive, your yeast infections could get worse.

Both of you need to get to the doctor and be done with it.

    Good luck.

A yeast infection will not lesson your chances of conceiving at all. It will just be bothersome to you. I would have your fiance get checked by a Dr. to clear it. If a Dr. can’t do it, then a nutritionist could get rid of it for him. He needs a candida cleanse. (candida is extra yeast in the body).

What is happening is he gives it to you then you give it back. what you need to do is. Tell your fiance to go to the doctor and get tested for yeast. If its positive the doctor can give him some pills to get it out of his system. When its gone and you don’t have it anymore. Then try and conceive. You should have a lot better chance. Good Luck

You should talk maturely with your fiance about it and try clear it up before you get pregnant. The reason been that is not really good to take any kinds of medication during first trimester of your pregnancy, it could affect the baby. So, you need both treatment the same time and not have any contact during that time.

I feel your pain! I have gone through this exact process and it is not pleasant! The good news is that you don’t have to worry about a yeast infection lessening your chances to conceive. However, the two of you do need to get rid of the yeast together, which may mean abstaining from sex until you’ve done so (otherwise you will continue to give it back to each other). If both of you don’t get rid of it you can plan on having a miserable pregnancy as the extra hormone in your body during pregnancy can contribute to extra yeast growth by itself. This is the only way I was able to get rid of my reoccurring yeast infections and I tried all the cremes and pills out there first with no such luck! Best wishes!!!
