I was wondering… How long did it take YOU to get pregnant after getting on birth control pills. Did you get pregnant right away or did you conceive right away?

My husband and I are waiting about a year, and i’m currently on the pill. Should I wait till we reach that year or before?

I know everyone is different, so i’m curious to find out what it was like for you?

Thanks
Oops sorry, I meant did you conceive right away or did it take youa while to conceive?

Hey, well Id been on Cilest (pill) for 10 years, I came off the pill, had withdrawal bleed and kept waiting on my period to show, I just had some spotting and cramping, eventually i took a test and it was positive – I was around 6 weeks pregnant I was so surprised it happened straight away. However this time, I came off the same pill, had withdrawal bleed then my first real period didnt arrive until 41 days later, and it took me just over 7mths to conceive. Goodluck!

It depends on what kind of pill you’re on and how your body reacts to it. I was on norethindrone for 14 months after I had baby #1 when we decided to stop it to conceive again. 1 week after I stopped it I had my period and then ovulated and conceived!
