I have had genital herpes for a year and within the year i have miscarried twice. I am currently taking Valtrex, but how long do I have to wait before getting pregnant again? The doctor said I miscarried because of the herpes. I just found out I have them about 3 months ago.
1 asshole’s answer was totally wrong because I HAVE NOT ever had an outbreak so how could I have known the man had the virus? We were together 3 years and he cheated. The problem isnt an outbreak cause I havent ever had one – its the actual virus in my blood that made me miscarry. so im wondering how long before my anitbodies will fight off the virus so i will be able to carry full term.

I have never heard of herpes causing miscarriage. I know that it can create complications during delivery if you have an outbreak, usually resulting in emergency C section.

hello. I knew of someone who had herpes. during the pregnancy everything went just fine no miscarrage and no problems after.
there is something called zincofax it is a cream and is good also something i heard called aloe vera jell. or to take a little sip of aloe vera juice once in a while. relax , dont worry and things should go ok just stay very positve ..and relax.. God is in control of things..
Sorry to hear you are having problems. Try changing your diet and seeing if that will help. Don’t drink coffee, and try to avoid chocolate and sugar as much as possible.

nine times out of ten if u have herps u will not have a misscarage but however the dieseas can and will affect ur baby….. by u having herps and than having an baby your child’s health will be at risk u really should seek doctor’s advice… if your ppartner has herps or any std than ur child’s health will indeed be at risk if ur partner does not have an std but knows u do and doses however inpregent u than ur child will be on the safe side
