hmm well this is a little uncomfortable but I had the same question and asked my twilight guru friend!

Yes but a male vampire has gotten a female human pregnant before edward got bella pregnant (150 yrs before) ! Nahuel is half human half vampire like Renesmee so maybe its just males who are still fertile and the females are not ? Well that’s my theory on it any way.
