We´re TTC, but my husband was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Can this effect our chances to conceive?

Can hypothyroidism cause a low sperm count?
My husband was just diagnosed with this condition, and we are trying to conceive, so I´m curious if this would effect his sperm count.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I know that when women have hypothyroidism it can effect their fertility so i don’t see why it couldn’t affect a man’s.
I suggest getting him to go to the doctor and have his sperm count checked! never hurts to check
No. And remember to only have sex every other day when you are fertile. It takes 48 hours to rebuild the sperm count wether he has a normal or low sperm count. Good luck.
