My husband and I just got married. I ran out of birth control pills last week,then had my period for a week, and starting this week we’ve been having sex with no pills and no protection. We’ve been planning on buying some condoms but haven’t gotten around to it yet. What are someone’s chances of getting pregnant right after going off the pill?     To be honest i think i depends on your reproductive system. Someties people get pregnant when missing a pills, and others it take up to a year.

    Assuming there are no fertility issues on either side it can happen right after. The average is 3 – 6 months after though.

    It’s possible, every woman’s body will react differently after coming off birth control. Some women it can take a year for your body to regulate, some it happens right away.
